Because his so-called "competition" for the 2012 election are shooting themselves in the foot and slowly bleeding to death. When you are a Republican presidential candidate and you can't remember what you want to get rid of when you get elected to office or you can't recall a single thing about a major international incident that took place mere months ago and subsequently tell reporters you are not "supposed to know about foreign policy", it's not looking good for the GOP.
This comedy of errors is worse than having Sarah Palin as a Vice Presidential candidate.
I have never seen Barack Obama lose his cool in public much less stumble over words. The man knows his history, he is well read, and even when he pauses you can tell he is measuring his words not looking for answers.
ENERGY, dammit! Lol!
