Rest in Peace to one of my favorite wrestlers growing up. Randall Poffo a.k.a Randy "Macho Man" Savage died today after suffering a heart attack while driving in Tampa Florida. His wife of 1 year was in the car with him, but suffered minor injuries.
Savage rose to fame as a member of the World Wrestling Federation (WWF) in the mid 80's. Savage was one of the most popular out of a memorable cast of characters in the WWF for his smooth wrestling moves like the flying elbow off the top rope and his signature between match interviews. It seemed like he was straining to talk and he would pop a neck vein at any minute whenever he spit out a "Dig It" or "Ohhhh Yeeeaaahh".
His epic matchups against Hulk Hogan were classic theatre. He will be missed.
