In what has been an unremarkable season for the Minnesota Twins thus far, Francisco Liriano walked five Chicago Whitesox hitters en route to a complete game no-hitter on Tuesday night (May 3rd). Both of these teams were picked to contend in the American League Central yet find themselves looking up at the surprising Cleveland Indians.
Nothing like a no-no to spark a team.
